Greetings from your Association WMU Leadership Team!!
We are excited to be hosting the women’s retreat/celebration on Saturday, March 14, at Grateful Acres in Lonoke. Registration begins at 8:30 that morning, with the retreat wrapping up that afternoon. The theme is “He Makes All Things New,” with 2 Corinthians 5:17 being the theme verse. The cost is $20/person which covers part of the meals and the venue. A breakfast and lunch will also be served. There will be a Bible study entitled “The Way Home,” by Tessa Afshar, which will include table discussions. There will also be praise and worship and a time for the yearly Women’s Celebration.
The mission project for this event is a monetary donation that will go toward the “Mission of Hope” in Carlisle. Please promote this within your church and help us gift them graciously. There will be a money tree displayed at this event on which to place your donations, and we are asking each church to provide one or two spring-themed door prizes.
