Volunteers are always needed at the Lonoke County Safe Haven Outreach Center/Thrift Store at 201 S. 2nd Street, Cabot.  The greatest needs are to hang clothes and put them out, cleaning/straightening the store, etc.  No heavy lifting necessary.  You can give two hours or a whole day!  They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00-4:00 each day.  Stop by to see how you can be involved in this local domestic violence mission!

New Scholarship Available

The W. T. Byrum Memorial Scholarship is named for W. T. Byrum who served as Director of Missions for Caroline Baptist Association from 1973-1989 and was in ministry from 1939-2008.  This scholarship was established to assist in the financial burden of those in school that have been called to ministry or missions.  The scholarship will be paid to their enrolled school of choice at $500 per semester for one year only beginning with the Fall semester.
